The essence of emptiness
Today was the worst feeling of all. I dont know what it is, may be I was just mentally exhausted and zombified, but i feel so empty. Empty to the point of insanity. I dont even know what it is i'm writing here.. but then again.. my mind is vacuum, nothing i can do can make me in any position more motivated or any happier than anything. Kyaa.. then it all makes sense why famous people with heaps of money commit suicide.. cuz they feel empty - empty like me. I dont even understand the purpose of this post - well that's true, it has no meaning. I'm just trying to tell you that it's empty.. empty... just plain empty.

Updated*: Got my editted version of half of my thesis today, I don't feel so crazy anymore (^^). I guess it's just last minute thesis stress?

I actually have a biology question... Am fascinated by genetics and evolution... Do you know how evolution itself evolved?
From I suppose something like asexual reproduction, to sexual reproduction (Darwinism).
I just think for something relatively simple evolution is really amazing.

evolution is far too complicated, but the only bottom line is survival of the fittest and I think that evolution never stops. It's still happening in our very world today - Only the fittest survive, the rest become extinct.
no i'm not a scientologist. for years i have been "undecided" wrt religion. but recently i've opted for atheism, but figuring out religion is one of my biggest interests -- that's why i'm so interested in RI i think...

LoL.. i think for me, I've been brought up in a christian family, so I do believe in God.. but i dont believe in the intricate things and doctrines and their crazy and weird rules, infact it pisses me off if someone still believe in them that if they dont follow a certain doctrine... they've committed a huge sin. I just think that's insane...And this goes to all sorts of religious extremist, not just -christianity.

Why am I interested in evolution?
E.g. the angle that branches/twigs/shoots sprout in relation to one another is a pretty constant angle.
The angle is actually optimal to catch sunlight. (I'm a bit shaky on the details, should investigate more...)
From my own thesis research tho, I know that genetic algorithms are v good at finding optimal solutions to discrete problems -- so I was wondering how nature came up with such a good way of solving problems...
just wondering how evolution evolved to be so good...

lol, i'm indonesian chinese actually - just been outta there for a very very long time.
my plans after uni is holiday - then (i dont know what)
and.. sorry my speciality isn't evolution. hehehe.. althought I have learnt about it before - but not into that great detail.
